TCU Veteran Educational Benefits Information
The Office of the Registrar, Veteran Services division, is ready to assist active duty service members, veterans, and their eligible dependents and spouses in obtaining their educational benefits and act as a liaison to the regional VA office to process enrollment certifications.

Isakson & Roe Section 1018 Requirements
Covered Programs
For individuals who served 90 aggregate days of active duty service on or after 09/11/01 and have an honorable discharge. Starting on August 1 2009 active duty service members may be eligible to transfer their Post 9/11 GI Bill entitlement to dependents and/or spouses. Under the Post 9/11 GI Bill students may be eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
Veterans and dependents who are 100% qualified for Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill are eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program funds.
Provides training and rehabilitation for veterans with a service-connected disability with a rating of at least 10%.
For dependents of a veteran who is 100% disabled or who has died from a service related injury or illness. A dependent may be a child under 26 or a surviving spouse.
For children and surviving spouses of an active duty member of the armed Forces who died from a service related injury or illness on or after Sept. 11, 2001.
Provides education benefits to Veterns and Service membrs who entered the military on or after July 1, 1985, had their basic military pay reduced by $100.00 per month for the first 12 months and have an honorable discharge.
For persons who have enlisted, reenlisted or extended an enlistment in the Selective Reserve on or after July 1, 1985 and served for a period of not less than 6 years following the date of such action.
