ORDERING YOUR CAP AND GOWN AND DIPLOMA

Cap and gown orders placed after, March 28, 2022 are subject to a fee. Late orders can be placed by contacting HerffJones. The gown is rented; and graduates may keep the cap and tassel.

If you cannot attend commencement, check in the "Not Attending Commencement" box.

Tradition suggests your full name (First Middle Last) for the diploma, no nicknames or titles. Deadline for online diploma ordering is March 28, 2022.

DIPLOMAS:

Only the degree name prints on the diploma. Majors, minors, and concentrations print only on the official transcript.

PAYMENT AND FEES

Your student account, must be paid in full by May 1, 2022.

MASTERS and DOCTORAL FEES

The following items require separate payment and cannot be charged to the student account. Please submit a separate check or cash payment for:

  • Thesis: $10.00
  • Dissertation: $10.00

TRANSCRIPTS

The deadline for submitting transcripts from other institutions is May 4, 2022. If you are currently enrolled at another college or university, you should arrange for early exams in order to meet this deadline. Transcripts maybe sent electronically to the Registrar's office or hand carried into the office in a signed sealed envelope. If the transcript has been opened it will not be accepted.

"I" GRADES

The deadline for removal of "I" grades is March 10, 2022.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND PHOTOGRAPHS

You may order announcements through https://herff.ly/gofrogs. You may invite an unlimited number of guests. A local studio will photograph commencement and then contact you about individual orders.

HONORS -

Latin Honors are for undergraduate degrees only, and are printed on the diploma. All honors are announced from the podium and are printed in the program. There are no cords for Latin Honors. Some organizations provide cords to wear with the Gown, contact your organization for this information.

ABSENTEES

- Must provide name, student ID number, degree information and a permanent mailing address. Diplomas will be mailed if they are not picked up from the Registrar's Office.
